1. Overview

Lead Sherlock is a HubSpot app built by Contiqa to help revenue teams research accounts faster. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.

2. Data We Collect

HubSpot data that you explicitly grant via OAuth scopes (e.g., company, contact, and deal records).

Usage telemetry such as feature events, load times, and error logs.

Uploaded or pasted research inputs that you choose to enrich with AI.

3. How We Use Data

Deliver, maintain, and support the Lead Sherlock experience inside HubSpot.

Provide on-demand AI research summaries using OpenAI’s API. Inputs are sent securely, and we prevent OpenAI from using your data to train their models beyond service delivery.

Improve product reliability, security, and roadmap decisions via aggregated analytics.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data. Period.

We only share information with subprocessors required to run the service (e.g., OpenAI for AI generation, hosting providers, logging platforms). Each subprocessor is bound by confidentiality agreements and data processing addenda.

We may disclose data to comply with legal obligations or to defend the rights and safety of Contiqa, our customers, or the public.

5. Security & Retention

We follow industry-standard security controls, including encryption in transit, role-based access, and continuous monitoring.

AI prompts and responses are cached only as long as needed to deliver features or troubleshoot issues, typically no longer than 30 days.

If your HubSpot admin uninstalls Lead Sherlock, synced data is purged within 30 days unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Your Choices

You can revoke Lead Sherlock’s access at any time from your HubSpot portal settings.

To request deletion or export of data we store outside HubSpot, contact privacy@contiqa.com. We will respond within 30 days.

You may opt out of non-essential telemetry by emailing privacy@contiqa.com.

7. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, regulations, or subprocessors. When we do, we will adjust the “Last Updated” date below and notify admins inside the HubSpot app.
